Hi,

I realised that the "call screen" from the Fake Call software is different from my Windows Mobile 6.0 incoming call notification.

When a legitimate incoming call is received, a notification covering the lower half the screen showing the caller. Fake Call shows a full screen instead.

I was just wondering if this is an intentional difference for the user or is it a bug?

Standard Windows Mobile call notification:

This is by design. We created our own screen to share code across all versions of Windows Mobile. We *could* make it look like the screen you show but it would just be separate code to maintain (due to differences in Pocket PC and Smartphone). Does the current look and feel bother you too much? It seems convincing enough that the person you're trying to fool won't know the difference. Let me know your thoughts.

Thanks.

The screen on its own looks convincing enough, especially since not many people in my country use Windows Mobile devices. The problem arises when another Windows Mobile user sees the call screen. That person is bound to notice the difference like I did.

Another problem I faced when using this program is, when I scheduled a "call" in 5 minutes time, the phone doesn't ring until I switch on the screen light. Is there some settings that I have to change for the phone to ring when in hibernation?

I dont think that they'll notice, since you can modify the smartphone a little. Its bound to be "skinnable"
